SBCF started to use the services of the SBCF MAMMOBUS to educate and screen our women at their doorstep. We visit self help groups. Villages, Community groups, colleges, police force, industries and defense establishment etc...
SBCF reaches to women irrespective of caste, creed and socio economic status. Breast Cancer is a journey not a destination.

How is a Campus Conducted?
- Request obtained from the local head of self help group, colleges and we engage the services of local Rotarians. Clubs etd.,
- Our coordinator Mrs. S. VIJAYALAKSHMI visits these places engages with them and discusses the modality and fixes the convenient date for the camp.
- On the day of the camp the Mammobus is taken to the venue. Our doctor or medical social worker explains to the gathering of women about breast disease and breast cancer with a clear pictorial power point presentation. This is followed by an interactive question and answer session. Women are divided into small groups and our nurses teach them self breast examination.
- Ladies who want to do mammogram get registered and a mammogram is taken. The mammograms are read by a panel of experts and if there are any abnormalities, those ladies are followed up
